Welcome to Sharoi Holistic Arabian and Herbal Recipe Farm!!

I’ve been asked to write an introduction to the farm and it’s creator…..Sharon Best. I have to say it is my honor and joy to do so. But how do you describe an alchemist? Sharon is one of the most amazing people I know of in the world. What she has been able to accomplish with her knowledge of herbs is nothing short of miraculous in my mind. And it is the greatest blessing that she is now sharing her gift with the world (after my and many other’s urging for many, many years, I might add).

I met Sharon almost 10 years ago through our mutual friend Walter Schimanski, the world renowned breeder and scholar of the beautiful Egyptian Arabian Horse. In fact Sharon’s current horses are descended from some my horses who were born and bred on Walter’s farm and cared for by Sharon as you can read in the History section on this site.

In the Newspaper Article from the Mena Star……the writer best summed up what Sharon is offering here; “Throughout the better part of her adult life, Sharon Best has gathered and practiced a knowledge which is both ancient and timely. She understands what the peoples of the land knew hundreds of years ago—that within the framework of this earth—within its flora and fauna, are all that man requires for sound health.”

What began during childhood for Sharon as an enchantment with horses…….quickly grew to a connection with horses and all animals that one can instantly recognize as a deep love that touches the very soul of her being…….and it is from this place that she has been able to work her magic. That place of magic…….….combined with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge about the nature of plants and herbs…..and united with the devotion & discipline to read and study…..absorb and implement …….anything and everything that has to do with animals and natural healing, has…….. over time……. led Sharon to discover the power of flower, leaf and root…..and the miraculous way they can be implemented to heal and preserve health for that wonderful herbivore…the horse. Over the course of several decades Sharon has honed those discoveries in order to be able to offer you the Herbal Recipes on this site.

I wish that everyone that ever loved a horse or a dog or a cat or ANY animal of any kind…….could visit Sharon and her husband Roi at Sharoi Arabians Holistic Breeding Farm. There you would see, firsthand, as I have……..the results of Sharon’s lifetime of work. As I was petting her gentle hearted Stallion, "Shalla", I remembered that, several months before, he had had a large deep gaping wound on his chest……as my fingers stroked his gleaming coat (gleaming from the inside…….as he is probably rarely groomed in the traditional way I’m familiar with…..rather…. the herbs he consumes on a daily basis keep him healthy, shining and bright), I was unable to find ANY sign that there had EVER been a wound there………..not visually and not by touch…….I was astonished!! I wish you all could watch Sharon as she prepares her horses food…..knowing instinctively and through many years of study and research……exactly what to give them so that they maintain their optimal health.

 
I’ve even started taking the herbal recipes myself, at Sharon’s suggestion, and have enjoyed wonderful health and energy as a result. And please don’t even get me started about Sharon’s knowledge and understanding of the ancient science of Astrology…..yet another great ‘gift’ my friend possesses.
 

I encourage you to wander around this site, read some of the Miraculous Stories and try at least one or two of the Herbal Recipes………I promise…… you, and your beloved animals, will thank me!!!!
